The Oxford Network for Social Inequality Research is a new interdisciplinary research centre, based at the Department of Sociology of the University of Oxford. Our goal is to foster theoretically informed, methodologically sound and policy-relevant research into social inequalities in contemporary societies. Apart from sponsoring externally-funded research projects, we also run a research seminar series and a research student exchange programme with the Stanford Center for the Study of Poverty and Inequality.
